I'm just a person who likes to talk about her life, her family, her interests etc. I live a pretty good life, at least I'm trying to make it a good one. It hasn't been easy of late. I quit working with my Dad's company in February 2010 and I've been trying to live with a budget that has been really tight. It sure makes you appreciate what you have and take care of them better. Actually what I've learned is how much I was just throwing or giving away just because it was in the way and/or I didn't need it.
I think I've also learned that I was spending way too much money, just to make myself happy. I was looking in all the wrong places. My husband and I went to a Retrouvaille seminar in March and it was the best thing that has ever happened to our marriage. We learned things about each other we hadn't known in 21 years of marriage.
It's been a crazy start to our year. My sister had her second baby in April at 31 weeks (Christian). He was born with GBS which caused him to be born with NO white blood cells, which caused pneumonia, which also caused high blood pressure, which also caused bleeding in his brain, which also caused his sodium to be very low. Everyone has prayed so hard for this little boy and we believe he is a living miracle! Even the doctors say that!
Then my dad had major surgery in May, he had a three-part stint put in an anuerysm that was very bad. It was so funny when he came out of it because he was ready to get up and go for a walk or go home and the next day he was walking around with a walker of all things!
Anyhoo, all these things that happen in your life just makes you turn to God more and appreciate all the help gives you every day!
